Job Description:

The individual in this business analyst role will be responsible for supporting the documentation and definition of functionality for the new application. 

 

Responsibilities for the position include:

·         Quickly become familiar with client business challenges, processes, and technologies

·         Define and document current-state business functions and processes

·         Identify opportunities for improving business processes through technology

·         Provide connection between business and technology to insure impactful solution is delivered

·         Elicit and document future-state business processes and translate to detailed business requirements

·         Assess feasibility of implementing requirements and ensure requirements will satisfy business needs

·         Create process flows to document business processes

·         Define application workflows to support the business processes

·         Analyze data, interpret results, and provide insights back to the business

·         Create templates to support requirement collection and management

·         Communicate with all levels of stakeholders including executives, vendors, developers, and customers

 

Specific qualifications includes:

·         Ability to document complex processes and communicate concepts clearly

·         Ability to interface with technical and business customers

·         Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements

·         Experience facilitating meetings with business and technical stakeholders

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

·         SQL skills preferred
