Java Developer (Oracle Identity Management or OIM exp must)

Description: Working with a Java Designer or Java Technical Architect or onsite coordinator, the Java Developer develops and unit tests code based upon UML Designs. This position will initially work with a development team and subsequently a sustainment team for custom developed application support. This position requires some proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and knowledge of programming best practices. Project would entail delivery of custom integration between MS Active Directory (AD), Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and OKTA. Knowledge of MS Active Directory and/or Oracle Identity Management Required.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and tenacious in their pursuit of knowledge, personal development, and providing excellent service. Willingness to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and the ability to learn quickly are a must. The role requires an on-call rotation supporting a 24x7 environment, and flexibility of schedule including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- OIM 11gR2
- OAM 11gR2
- Provisioning, Deprovisioning, Identity Lifecycle Management
- Able to build custom connectors
- Able to customize OIM 11gR2 and OAM 11gR2 as needed
- Build custom Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) composite for workflows, as needed
- 3+ yrs experience with Data Transformation and Data Mapping
- 3+ yrs experience with MS Active Directory and/or Oracle Identity Management
- 3+ yrs experience with Web Application Servers, JSP, Servlet, JUnit, Ant, Jenkins, Maven
- 3+ years experience with Object-Oriented design and development
- 3+ yrs experience with at least Java 5, JSP, Web Application Servers, and Web Services (SOAP),
- 1+ yrs experience with JQuery and Javascript and working with APIs
- 1+ yrs experience with UML
- 2+ yrs experience with Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL, preferably Oracle
Soft Skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to peers and supervisors
- Capable of working with other team members to acquire or pass on technical and/or other skills
- Some proficiency in documentation and communication skills
Technical Skills
- Ability to translate Detailed Design into working code that conforms to the specification
- Ability to work in a complex environment
- Some knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis/Design techniques
- Some knowledge of Design and Programming Patterns
- Exposure to Java EE, including Security, JPA, JTA, EJB, J2EE patterns
- Some knowledge of SQL
- Some exposure to frameworks such as TopLink, Hibernate
