Position: SAS Grid Administration
Work Locations: Brecksville, OH or Pittsburgh, PA

Duration – 12-18 months
SAS Grid Administration experience
Hands on experience with SAS Grid, Hadoop Grid, Python Grid environments at large institutions Hands on experience with configuring/ maintaining application monitoring through tools such as Zenoss, Splunk, Dynatrace etc.
Key Responsibilities:
•Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
•Very strong analytical, requirements gathering, issue resolution and coordination skills preferred
•Key role player on technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
•Contribute technically to projects related to environment design and infrastructure roll-outs
•Strong Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, SAS, C
•Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
•Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux , shell scripting
•Design, write and deliver software/ scripts to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
•Solve problems relating to mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence; with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
•Influence designs, architectures, standards and procedures for large-scale distributed systems.
•Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.
•Conduct periodic on call duties especially in case of system incidents, planned business continuity events, system outages etc.
•In-depth knowledge of operating systems (processes, threads, concurrency issues, locks, mutexes, semaphores, monitors and how they work).
•Familiarity with algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis is a plus
Day to Day:
Key role to ensure MIP platform high availability, reliability and to help function as a systems engineer working with PNC engineering teams, platform vendors and critical incident management especially during regulatory cycles - CCAR, DFAST, SOX, Quarterly (CCAR and DFAST are nice to have) Needs to have very strong communication and coordination skills Will work with the internal clients (the lines of business) and vendors
