Job Title : Hadoop Developer 

Location : San Francisco, CA

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Job Description 

Develop Python and Spark applications and scripts to automate data aggregations and transformations in big data platform 

Required Experience 

Four + years of ETL experience with Big Data Technologies (including but not limited to Mapreduce, Hive, Pig, Flume, Sqoop, Oozie, Kafka, Spark) 

Two+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python 

Demonstrated expertise in configuration management and orchestration tools for system and application configuration. 

Strong experience with Git workflow strategies 

Well versed in software and data design patterns 

Seven + years of relevant software development experience
