Sr J2EE Developer (8-10 Years)

 

Job Description

 

This is a opportunity for a mid level java developer to have exposure to some of our client's most interesting web based applications.  The role will focus on triage/maintenance for 5-6 applications (web based trading apps for clients, option advisory website for clients, Auto trading application which allows clients to allocate specific chunks of money and they'll trade on your behalf,  internal website for middle and back office, Futures and Forex account openings)

 

They day to day tasks will involve core java, SQL server and UNIX scripting. Business knowledge not required

Sample of the day to day tasks:

·       Figure out if an issue is caused by data corruption or if an initial process didn't run

·       Dig thru code to see what is broken

·       If it is a complicated issue, know when to escalate
