Job Title: Sr Oracle DBA(LOCALS) 

Location: Philadelphia, PA.

Duration: 5 months Contract.

Interview : phone then Face to Face

REQUIRED SKILLS:

We seek a Senior Oracle DBA with a balance of skills in Oracle 11g database administration, RAC, and Dataguard to support large-scale Oracle databases 

Oracle DBA Technical Skills

Must have 10 years of experience supporting and working in production Oracle environments.

Provide 24 x 7 x 365 support through on-call rotation. Pager duty will be required.

Must have 3 years of hands on experience in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) preferably 11gR2. 

Must have 3 years of hands on experience in installation, configuration, and support of Oracle Data Guard using data guard broker, fast start failover and observer. 

DBA must have hands on experience to supporting Oracle databases (high transaction OLTP and Large Data Warehouse databases).

DBA must have hands on experience and be able to implement Oracle table partitioning, compression, auditing, refresh/cloning environments, OEM (11g/12c) and RMAN backup/restores/duplicates.

Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning and SQL optimization.

Ability to diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, database, network,  server and storage)

Knowledge of data migration, data archiving and data access techniques.

DBA must be able to write SQL and UNIX shell scripts with formatting to serve as evidence for the change management process.

Evaluate new database technologies and products and recommend to technical management.

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 11g is preferred.
