Position: E2E Tester

Location: San Ramon, CA

Type: Contract

 Duration: Long Term

Skills set

• knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP)
• Database Knowledge
• Strong experience working with Java/J2ee applications.
• Hands-on testing experience on GUI automation GUI and Linux based software will be added advantage
• Telecom background, experience working with Tier1 Telco and specializes in OSS-BSS products and solutions.
• Ability to write test cases on soap,http, rest requests and java based products
• Continuous Integration/Automation Knowledge

Job Description :\

• Take responsibility of gaining knowledge on customer requirements / environment
• To interact with different development team members to gain new features information
• Setup customer configurations on lab platform which includes database configurations, protocol stack configurations and third party interface configurations
• To write E2E test cases which includes verifications of protocol messages / CDRs / Alarms / Statistics / Notifications / Functionalities / provisioning interface etc
• To execute E2E test cases using protocol stacks and wherever possible with 3rd party interfaces
• To do negative foreseen cases test scenarios
• To automate test cases for future use
• Hands-on experience on GUI automation GUI and Linux based software will be added advantage
• Ability to automate test cases on soap,http, rest requests and java based products will be added advantage
• Hands-on experience on automation and testing tools like SOAP UI Tool, Selenium, Jmeter etc will be preferred
• Load and stress testing in an environment closet to customer configuration
• To test CCI verifications or customer critical patches
• Follow up of defects raised by customers, analyze them and feedback to other test campaigns
• Innovate technical ideas
• To acquire latest professional and technical knowledge and skills required for job
• To understand project success factors and abide to them
