Position Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: Addison, TX

Duration: 6+ months

 

Need Locals

 

Job Description:

-          Looking for a highly motivated individual willing to contribute to all facets of the Software Lifecycle Development of Client systems and applications.

-          The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills, develop quality code using best practices, team player, self-starter, and good verbal and communication skills.

-          Must be able to work independently on a development project with minimal supervision.

-          Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area.

-          Capable of communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and representing development team in requirements discussions.

 

Job Responsibility Breakdown:

20% - Design

70% - Development, QA

10% - Production Support

 

Qualifications

The candidate should have

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• A minimum of 8 years of development experience.
• A minimum of 6 years as a Java Developer.

                                        

Technology Preferred (one or more of the following)

·         Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, XML, JAXB, JAX-WS, SOAP, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Linux, UNIX, Windows, Eclipse IDE, ESB(any ESB experience: Fuse, Mule etc.)

·         Experience with Open source frameworks.

·         Web application development experience.

 

Preferred but not required:

·         Report Servers – Oracle, SSRS, etc.

·         ETL/BI Tools

·         Java or other Certifications.

·         LifeRay Portal

·         Mobile

·         HTML5/CSS3
