Title: Project- Program Manager

Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Start Date: 11/9/2015

Duration: 12/1/2016

 

Responsibilities:

Institute strong portfolio governance to guide the selection, prioritization, delivery and support of IT projects

Ensure timely and consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, impacts and changes associated with management of the portfolio

Enforce effective standards, tools, and processes that enable continuous, measurable improvements in the quality of planning and delivery of IT projects and the portfolio

Leverage IT portfolio management best practices

Standardized project reporting and dashboards to clearly and succinctly show the health and status of projects and the overall portfolio

Effective communication of constraints, costs, schedule, scope, risks and issues

Establish KPI's to measure performance to schedule and budget, resource utilization, quality of delivery and business value

Leads and motivate staff. Responsible for adherence to corporate departmental policies, procedures and standards

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent work experience)

10+ years' project management experience 

PMI  PMP certified

Proven experience managing enterprise, complex level IT projects

Experience managing resources in a matrix organization

Exceptional influencing, leadership, and motivational skills

Strong communication across all levels of the organization, including the ability to communicate complex challenge  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, and Project)

Understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and updated releases

CGEIT Certification – Preferred

COBIT experience – Preferred

Six-Sigma  - Certification -Preferred
