Business FA than IT which is what is needed right now.  Our resources needs to be able to review the business workflow and process requirements and work with the development teams in understanding how to automate them and build them into a workflow engine like Hyperion.

OpenText - Content Server and Stream Serve Developer

Responsible for being the primary technical resource providing support and development expertise on the implementation of the OpenText Content Server and Stream Serve product for document generation and rendering. 
This role is responsible for working with the middleware and document design teams to ensure that the required data is available to support document generation as defined by the business.

Responsibilities: 
  • Be the primary technical point-of-contact for OpenText Stream Serve and Content Server
  • Develop expert level knowledge of Stream Serve & Content Server functionality and architecture/design
  • Work with technical Middleware team to ensure all attributes for the  document template have been accounted for 
  • Work on HTML solutions and have hands on experience in HTML5 Work with the Business/Financial Analysis Team to understand business requirements for new document generation as well as modifications.
  • Design and develop new payloads and enhance existing data payloads to support document generation and maintain the associated XSD's.
  • Work with the middleware and document design team in ensuring that data payload requirements are communicated and documented.
  • Support testing and document verification.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with staff on other teams.
Required Skills: 
  • Strong technical software development experience with SOAP and REST Web Services and XML including WSDL, XSD
  • Prior technical experience with document generation systems - OpenText Content Server and Stream Serve 
  • Previous experience with web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS) and web services
  • Demonstrated experience to independently learn and become the expert on new technologies and applications

Canadian Railway is in the middle of a 1BB  (US dollar) Positive Train Control (PTC) project. They are in the testing phase. Roles will be based in Homewood Illinois.
These are not typical QA roles. Must have FMEA (Failure Modes Effects Analysis) skills as well as LIT (That's the tool).

Telecom and Engineering firms would typically use this tool and testing methods.

Skill:
  • Experience designing security test cases as well as reliability test cases (i.e. FMEA style test cases).
  • Experience designing test cases, scenarios, procedures, test data and other setup necessary to establish the required pre-conditions and environmental context for each test case, as well as executing those LIT-NN, LIT-EE, LIT-I cases that can not or are not yet automated.
