Job Description:

 

Senior Cisco Wireless Network Engineer/Solution Architect with expert level ability in the wireless network technology field.

·         Cisco Wireless certification (CCNP – Wireless, CCIE – Wireless)

·         Design and develop wireless technology solutions

·         Extensive background in Wireless Network Design, Deployment and Implementation of Cisco Wireless solutions; basic Route/Switch experience

·         Thorough understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture

·         Cisco knowledge with network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of Controllers(8500/7500/5500 and WiSM2), Access points(3700/3600-Lightweight and Autonomous)

·         Provide detailed network drawings and diagrams and relation as-built documentation of network designs.

·         Perform network related tasks, including configuration of 802.11ac/802.11n and troubleshoot client connectivity in a large campus environment.

·         Perform wireless network security authentication and encryption techniques using 802.1x concepts on ACS/ISE servers for WPA/WPA2-TKIP/AES, EAP-TLS/PEAP methods.

·         Minimum of 8 years of experience;  Senior Design Engineer - WLAN projects (Project Lead desirable)

·         Experience with complex design and deployment projects, particularly in a global environment
