Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: Long term contract to December 2017

Provide software maintenance to accommodate changes in versions of computer operating systems, computer hardware systems, and operations subsystems, to include: 

• JBoss
  
• Java Web Start 
  
• Apache Web Server
  
• JReport 
  
• SVN Repository

Configuration of the servers, to include: 

• Application server 
  
• Report server 
  
• Web server
  
•  SVN Repository
  

Make changes to the system only after describing the proposed change in writing to the System Manager, and after obtaining permission from the System Manager to make the change.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to specified resources before the Agreement expires.  This includes providing documentation, technical discussions and personal training if necessary. 

• Development of specifications, models and guideline for the frameworks
  
• We have a user base of 20 users and has been in production for over ten years. It has proven to be a robust and stable system with a 99.999% up time.
  
• We are a Swing based J2EE application. It is designed to function under Java 1.6.0_45 and uses Java Web Start to deploy updates to its users. It is built using Java Swing to provide a graphical user interface (GUI). Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) is used for the transaction management
  
• It uses JBoss 6.1.0 as its application server under a clustered environment.
  
• Microsoft SQL 2008 server is used for the backend database.
  
• It has an OLTP environment.  Single Relational database that is replicated for DR.  Two Phase commit protocol enabled through Java Transaction Service.
  
• One hundred (100+) plus reports are processed through JReport 10 which is a Java based reporting tool.
  
• It has a Development, Test, QA and Production environment.
