Client's e-Commerce Network Engineering team is looking for a technical member to build and maintain its global infrastructure. This position will provide operational support for client's LAN infrastructure at sites worldwide. It will include the participation in and oversight of the daily upkeep and administration of the company's network infrastructure and systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, and monitoring tools. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
· Implement and maintain all LAN-based network systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements.
· Provide operational support for client's LAN infrastructure, working with vendor support as required.
· Evaluate and help correct network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency.
· Physical switch configuration including infrastructure setup, installation, power, cabling
· Ability to create cut sheets, implement changes (both LAN config and physical) Aruba wireless network, including ClearPass, experience preferred but not required

Requirements:
· 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a global environment
· Strong switching, routing, and firewall experience
· Proficient understanding and experience using configuration management and/or diagnostic tools, monitoring applications and performance analysis tools
· Demonstrated capabilities with networking concepts and protocols, such as VLAN/PVLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, IP subnetting, routing
· Configuration and management of Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls, including Nexus series and ASA
· Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP routing protocols
· Netscout Performance Manager and other troubleshooting tools
· Solarwinds
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills and documentation skills
Preferred:
· ClearPass, experience preferred but not required
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering a plus
