Job Title              :  Data and Solution Architect

Job Location       :  Eden Prairie, MN

Job Type             :  6+ months

Interview             :  Phone + Skype/WebEx

Experience          :  10+ Years Exp.

 

 

Actively Interviewing:-

 

Feedback for Rejected Candidates – Not right for our Data Architecture role.  Seems to be a strong ETL resource but is lacking the Data Architecture experience and knowledge we would be looking for in regards to this role.  Not much throughout for Logical and Enterprise Logical Data modeling experience, specifically around HEALTHCARE Background Mandatory.

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

- Relation DB (Teradata)

- ETL (DataStage)

- Unix

- MS Office

- Visio

- Enterprise Architect

 

What skills/attributes are a must have?

§  Minimum 10 years in the IT profession

§  Minimum 5 years of experience creating DM / DW architectures (minimum of 5 terabytes)

§  Experience with various data intake, staging and integration methods and tools

§  Experience building and/or delivering against long-term, strategic technology roadmaps

§  Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas (both verbally and in writing) to executives and technologists

§  Ability to consult with business and technology representatives and to negotiate satisfactory outcomes for all

§  Success leading multiple projects through the entire SDLC

§  Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills

§  High accountability with a demonstrated ability to deliver

§  Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

 

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

§  Experience architecting Analytic solutions using Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop Stack, NoSQL DBs)

§  Experience with Java development

§  Experience with integration methodologies and tools

§  Experience with Meta Data tools and techniques

§  Experience with data quality and data profiling tools
