Position: Salesforce Developer
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Duration: 12+ Month/ Contract

As a Salesforce.com Developer you will be encouraged to explore new innovative technological solutions in addition to being responsible for the design, development and support of enterprise
applications that will run on the Force.com platform. There will be opportunities to work on multiple solutions for Ecolab including but not limited to Customer Portal, CRM, Integrations and custom application

Main Responsibilities:
• Are committed to Developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining and testing software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve
diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
• Are energized about being a technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions.
• Work closely with PM's, application engineers and end users to translate business requirements to smart solutions in Salesforce.com.
• Are enthusiastic about designing and developing applications using the Salesforce.com developer toolkit.
• Welcome the opportunity to create custom objects, classes and triggers in Salesforce.
• Appreciate the value in writing technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs.
• Get excited about building and developing web services to support various integration points.
• Value participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.
• Enjoy collaborating with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce.com Architecture, Design and Development.
• Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services.
• Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments such as Eclipse.
• Proficiency in SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, Apex, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong Object Oriented Development Skills (.Net, Java)
• Knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies, SOA design principles.
• Proven ability to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
• Experience with design and development of integration solutions using third party integration tools including Informatica (ETL and Cloud).
• Experience with the full cycle of software development on the web, particularly in an agile environment: design, coding, testing, release, maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong initiative and personal accountability
• Salesforce.com Certified (DEV 401) Developer preferred.
