Location:         Chicago, IL
Duration:         4 weeks
Client:         Deloitte

Perform an assessment of a custom developed (MS .NET) client server software solution to determine areas for improvement in the following areas:
Operational maintenance/sustainability
Overall system performance
Programming practices
Automation of current code, build, test, and deploy processes"

Expected Deliverables:
Detailed assessment of the existing application architecture (including database) identify areas for improvement including recommended actions.

Required skills:
Strong experience in architecting, designing and implementing highly scalable windows and web-based applications using MS dot net technologies
Strong understanding of object oriented concepts, design patterns, and architectural patterns like SOA(Service Oriented Architecture), domain driven architecture, MVC & MVP
Experience in building plug & play architectural components and layers like Services, Business, Data, Security, Caching, Validation, Logging etc.
Experience in implementing solutions using WPF, C#, WCF, ASP.Net,
HTML 5, AJAX, Bootstrap, MVC, Rest, WebAPI, Angular JS and ORM tools.
Experience in enhancing existing software architecture/design by analyzing and identifying areas for improvement, optimization or refactoring across layers
Performance tuning of .Net applications
Experience in data technologies like ADO.Net, Entity framework, OData etc."

Preferred skills:
Experience in Research, Tool Evaluation, Technology Evaluation, awareness of new and emerging technologies
Experience on database designing & data modelling on databases like SQL Server
Experience in build management using tools like MS Build and TFS
Strong exposure to Agile Development Methodology "
