Title: Devops Engineer
Location: Richmond VA
Duration: 6+ months Contract

Note: Require EX Capital One or strong Financial background.

Job Description:
Responsible for providing IT systems support that may include duties such as installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing. Also performs quality assurance processes to effectively manage system availability and improve operations.
Includes deployment automation in Cloud (AWS) environment.

Basic Qualifications
• Deep understanding of Linux /Windows systems and how to tune them for performance – 3+ years
• Application configuration/deployment -- experience with Windows IIS, RedHat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Oracle, including MEAN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS) Stack
• Experience with AWS Stack (ELB, EC2, S3, VPC, EBS, RDS, IAM, etc.); be able to also write CloudFormation scripts
• Experience with Deployment Automation using: Chef, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Docker, Ruby
• Troubleshooting: Advanced demonstration of diagnostic skills across a broad number of technologies and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple platform teams
• Good written and verbal communication skills
