Job Title : SQL/SSIS Developer
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 12 months contract
Job Description
What are they looking for?
•Need someone who's strong SQL Developer with C# experience and familiar with front-end
oOn the front-end, they use HTML5, SPA
•This person will be tasked with helping build out new applications, enhancements, features, etc. as they are moving this entire warehouse to Kentucky
•They are wanting someone who's open and able to ask questions if they don't know something
•If a candidate feels they know everything and has all the answers then they're not the right fit for this role
•Communication must be excellent
• Provides technical and engineering expertise in the areas of software development; aids in project planning, design and engineering, including application performance management, security audit and remediation.
• Designs and develops data constructs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), TSQL and Stored Procedures.
• Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code.
• Collaborates with IT operations and testing organizations to ensure timely project releases.
• Ensures database environments and designs are both sustainable and scalable.
• Supports the IT staff and business users in the development, usage and troubleshoots database-driven applications.
• Conducts system tests, troubleshoots customer issues and correct database defects.
• Responds quickly and efficiently to both defect reporting and enhancement requests.
• Supports maintenance of local databases.
• Translates high-level requirements into detailed technical designs, and leads design sessions and code walkthroughs.
• Assists in component design, software, and production evaluation and builds recommendations.
• Provides technical estimates for assigned programming tasks.
• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications, including software infrastructure and development tools for current systems and applications.
• Supports and/or installs software applications, infrastructure and development tools.
• Participates in the testing process through unit testing and analysis of software.
• Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, web-interfaces and hardware logic (possibly running on multiple platforms) integrate to meet new and emerging enterprise requirements.
• Develops technical documents on software design that are optimized and flexible.
• Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for intended code reuse.
