Job Title: Cloud Architect Google

Location: NYC

Location: 6+ Months

 

Responsibilities:

·         Provide deep subject matter expertise in virtual server technology to resolve technical issues, consulting, and hands-on client project support

·         Architecture, design, and support of the Google cloud and infrastructure strategy

·         Research and development for emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies

·         Work with application owners/groups to ensure proper architecture and function of PwC's server infrastructure

·         Advise dev ops on how to perform their duties, provide some hands on dev ops support

·         Skilled data modeler in scalable solutions using both SQL-based and document-based databases.

·         Develop documentation for best practices for server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing

 

Basic qualifications

      5+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.

      BS level technical degree or commensurate experience required; Computer Science background preferred; MS degree desired

      3 + years practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.

      2+ years' experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure in production

      2+ years' experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments

      1+ year experience ensuring patches are automatically applied to all environments as quickly as possible after they're released, and performing all other related cloud-based maintenance.
