Salesforce Developer

Germantown, MD

6+ month/ Contract

Phone and In Person

Must be USC, GC or EAD- GC

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain features on the Ordering and Provisioning platform for the Service Delivery Group. The Ordering and Provisioning platform is BPM/SOA based platform employing Java/J2EE technologies and Oracle Database.
• Define key business processes, application architecture, Data Modeling, requirements analysis, design, development & support.
• Work with cloud services & technologies as well as application development skills on Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform.
• Develop projects for implementation within SFDC using APEX/Visual Force as well as integration with on-premise back-end systems.
• Implement Service Cloud within SFDC is highly desirable.
• Effectively translate business requirements into systems solutions.

Required Skills: 

• BS Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
• 5 or more years of experience in a technical role on as part of an application development team programming with Java, and working on Salesforce Applications 
• Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills to complement the above technical expertise, and have experience working in small to medium size project teams (3-10 team members).
• Experience working on Service Cloud within SFDC
• Additional expertise of the following technologies would be highly desirable: Java/J2EE /XML/XSLT/HTML/JSPs.
• Experience with RDBMS & Data Integration tools such as Informatica is a plus
