Position : PeopleSoft Administrator

Duration : Long Term

Locations: Albany, NY

Only locals

Desired Qualifications:

•Demonstrated experience providing IT customer service;

•Demonstrated experience troubleshooting application, network communications, and storage communications problems utilizing diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems;

•Demonstrated experience tracking and resolving problems which impact continuing system operations;

•Demonstrated experience documenting procedures pertaining to server maintenance, configuration, change, and release management;

•Demonstrated experience addressing new software maintenance requirements and service outages;

•Knowledge of retirement benefits administration business requirements and their fulfillment through specific IT capabilities and practices;

•Excellent oral and written communication skills;

•Excellent organizational skills;

•Demonstrated experience administering or utilizing any of the following software: ?Oracle Enterprise Data Quality

 

·         Five years System Administration in PeopleSoft applications in configuring and supporting all components including PeopleTools, migrating objects, applying maintenance packs, bundles and tax updates and applying fixes:

·         Two years experience in configuring and maintaining integration broker gateway, queues, routings and application messages for internal and external integrations:

·         Five years experience developing and implementing PeopleSoft security roles and permission lists:

·         Five years in implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Weblogic and Tuxedo:

·         Experience in at least two PeopleTools upgrades:

·         Five years in configuring web servers, application servers, and process schedulers:

·         Participated in at least one upgrade PeopleSoft HCM, CRM, Financials or Pension applications where the candidate was responsible for downloading patches, MP's and Tax Updates, using change assistance, performing several test moves to production:

·         Two years experience using migration/version control software. (Preferably STAT or Phire):

·         Three plus years experience with Weblogic and Tuxedo in an AIX environment (UNIX):

·         Four years experience troubleshooting application configurations:

·         Five years experience at writing SQL queries, Shell scripts:

·         Two plus years experience configuring and maintaining a PeopleSoft Interaction Hub/Portal including configuring unified navigation.
