Responsibilities:
• Provide Technical Expertise for the configuration and administration of Informatica Big Data Governance Edition on a Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop
•Assist local Informatica platform administrators in validation and performance tuning of the Informatica components for a new BDGE implementation w/ CDH.
•Assist in troubleshooting issues related to BDGE software bugs, databases, Hadoop interfaces and performance bottlenecks by interfacing with DBA, Informatica Global Support and Infrastructure teams to drive problem resolution.
•Provide expertise with the latest Informatica products (9x) and best practices.
•Identify and address gaps in infrastructure such as storage needs, processing needs, computing needs and work with Infrastructure and bridge those gaps identified.
•Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity, availability, reliability, security, and performance of the Informatica platform, tools, and services.
•Provide mentoring to developers, testers, and service providers in optimum utilization of Informatica BDGE capabilities and best practices.
