- Required Skills: At least 6 years of experience deploying and managing DB2 LUW databases in Linux environment (Other database experience such as Oracle, MYSQL, MS SQL may be considered)
- Strong experience in Linux Operating System
- Solid knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and DB2 LUW internals
- Around 2 plus years of experience in configuring and setting up DB2 LUW HADR and other replication options such as clustering for high availability
- Configure and monitor numerous DB2 LUW instances
- Experience with backup and recovery of databases for production and non-production environments
- Lead in creating a clear vision for the future
- Solve production problems and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Experience in DB2 LUW performance tuning
- Build and Deploy schema changes to production and non-production
- Experience in shell scripting
- Identifying problem queries and reporting to the development teams
