Key skills:
Senior Developer with strong functional programming & microservices background and 1+ year of Scala experience. Proficiency in Play, Akka, and Cassandra.
Interview process:
Combination of phone and Skype, 2 to 3 steps, with screen sharing coding exercises
Overview:
Senior MicroServices Developer (Scala)- Ability to lead & guide small teams -Proven ability to communicate with less technical users to understand requirements and implement appropriate solutions -Commercial development experience in Scala required. Experience with multithreaded development, modern approaches to concurrency. Design, develop, and configure micro services software systems built using Scala, Play and Akka, using Cassandra as database, to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity. Functional programming knowledge is needed.
