ASP.NET Developer with Power Builder

Pittsburgh, PA.

1 Year Contract

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Support PowerBuilder 8/9 Desktop Application changes

·         Develop ASP.NET 2.0 Web Application Pages and Code Behind

·         Design SQL Server database objects, tune queries, and be a contributor to the overall database architecture

·         Analyze business systems requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements

·         Assist in development of test scripts, product builds and installation programs

·         Support debugging and enhancement of existing programs and modules

·         Write functional and technical specification documents

·         Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and unit test documentation

 

Requirements:

 

·         Four-year degree in Computer Science or related experience

·         Minimum five years of experience in systems analysis and programming, addressing unique issues of architecture and data management

·         Strong experience with PowerBuilder 8 or 9 and Visual Studio 2008/2010

·         Solid programming experience using OOP techniques

·         Experience developing SQL and Stored Procedures

·         Strong multi-tasking, planning, design, debugging, communication and technical skills

·         PowerBuilder 8/9 or Windows Desktop Programming

·         SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQ (Procedures, Functions and Triggers) and SSRS/Report builder

·         Automated Build and Deployment Tools

·         Windows 7, XP

·         Experience with  IIS, ASP.net a plus

·         Experience with SQL Server Reporting services, Report models a major plus
