SAVE THIS DATE! Join with the Farmworker Association of Florida  for Dinner and Celebration in honor of Florida's Farmworkers Thursday, November 21, 2013 6:30 P.M.- 8:30 P.M. St Margaret Mary Catholic Church 526 N. Park Ave. Winter Park, Florida 32789   Event will feature the Lake Apopka Farmworker Memorial Quilts, music, and other performances. Food graciously donated by local producers and retailers, and authentic ethnic foods prepared by community members.  To reserve a ticket, call FWAF at 407-886-5151. Ticket price: $25 for one person; $45 for couple; $15 for students; $200 corporate sponsor          Thank you for all your support and your belief in humanity and peace and justice.  We wish that this Thanksgiving and all those to come that when you sit down with your friends and family you will remember the efforts and struggles of those who bring the food to your table. This special national day for giving thanks is a perfect occasion to reflect on what the meaning of Thanksgiving should be and the many ways we can show our thankfulness. We are deeply grateful for your continuing  support  of our organization and the farm and nursery workers by volunteering, donating, attending our events, and for your comments and thoughts.
