Role:- Informatica ETL Developer
MISSION.
· Responsible of ETL/DQ development and implementations.
· Responsible for application integration, development and deployment, following the bank and project charters
· Help with data architecture, data warehousing and data mart modeling.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
· Consult with users, management, and technical personnel to clarify and validate business requirements.
· Design innovative ETL/DQ solutions aligned with BNPP's informational architecture.
· Write/analyze functional requirements based on obtained business requirements.
· Design ETL/DQ solutions and write ETL/DQ technical specifications.
· Develop ETL interfaces and processes.
· Develop DQ rules in accordance with the Data governance specifications.
· Implement data integration best practices and conventions.
· Develop PL/SQL packages and procedures by following the best practices / conventions within the team
· Perform workload and risk analysis related to these solutions.
· Help deploy application to UAT and production environments, and handle bug-fixes and implement possible system redesigns during these periods.
· Insure quality of solutions by establishing strict code quality processes (design standards, code review …).
· Design testing strategy and elaborate test data sets.
· Validate testing results.
· Identify potential problems and proactively suggest changes and solutions.
· Act as a reference for data integration and reporting solution.
SKILL SET – REQUIRED COMPETENCIES :- TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
· Good knowledge in Informatica ETL (Power Center) and Data Quality.
· Good track record in Oracle database development, i.e. good knowledge & practice of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
· Very good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and development methodologies.
· Bash/Python scripting experience
· Must have strong technical and problem solving skill set (Banking industry experience is a plus)
· Familiar with Waterfall development methodology (development lifecycle including source control)
