job description:

Conduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC.

Write and Executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production.

Testing - Manual, automated or both

Manage the creation of regression and in-cycle testing for projects or designated applications by leading test management, test planning, and test preparation and test execution.

Testing of AS400/iSeries Applications to meeting the project objectives

Test documentation

Ability to work independently

Good Analytical skills to navigate through the software applications

Good knowledge of SQL and Database concepts

Ability to understand programming/coding in iSeries

Ability to automate scripts and run automated test scripts

Skills and experience required to directly interface with subject matter experts and technical groups (architects, system designers, operations, etc.) to resolve problems encountered during testing.

Proficient in the creation of complex documents that communicate technical concepts in a clear, concise, and in complete manner

Should be able to work in multiple projects at a time, good team player and individual contributor

Willing to take ownership of all assigned tasks

Innovative, creative, and extremely responsive with a strong sense of urgency

Responsible, conscientious, and the proven ability to deliver under minimal supervision

Strong understanding of Agile/SDLC
