F5 Network Delivery Engineer

 This role will plan, coordinate, implement and deliver services to our customers and partners on a variety of platforms and vendors, including Cisco, F5, Juniper and Dell. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise within the F5 suite of services and be well versed in other aspects of networking. The F5 Network Engineer's goal will be to deliver a high-quality product by committed delivery dates, consistently.

 The duties and responsibilities of the F5 Network Delivery Engineer will include:

• Design, implement and support new and existing services on F5 for customers and business partners

• Improve performance and availability of existing networks and services

• Research, document, publish, and maintain network policies and procedures

• Work closely with project and development teams to increase quality of network builds and deliverables

• Work with Hyatt management to improve process and procedures and reduce inefficiencies

• Out of the box thinking – text book solutions are not always the best answer

• Mentor, train and assist team members

 

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field

• Advanced knowledge of F5 components (LTM, GTM, Big IP, AFM, WOM, IRules)

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls and security concepts (NEXUS, BGP, ASA)

• 3+ years' experience hands on support and troubleshooting of networks utilizing F5

• 1+ years' experience with design and implantation on complex networks, including F5

• Understanding of network management, security and monitoring

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Flexible to work on/off shift to meet company, customer and internal requirements

• Detailed documentation skill set
