Java Team Lead/Java Lead
Location: Dearborn, MI
- Java team lead responsible for design and development of software applications running on a WebSphere + Adobe Experience Manager environment. Work with business and technical lead to design an ecommerce solution. The successful candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable taking ownership of features and have a strong commitment to quality.
- All applicants must have a working knowledge of JPA and be able to take the lead role in development of the persistence framework.
- Develop applications on WebSphere + Adobe AEM + MS SQL
- Lead JPA persistence development
- Lead and participate in development
- Participate in peer based code and design reviews
- Collaborate with team to handle day to day project workflow
- Write and assist with design documentation
- Manage application development duties. Plan, schedule and complete tasks.
- Adhere to coding standards and promote best practices
Education:
- BS in Computer Science or relevant equivalent
Experience:
- 5+ years Java web application development
- 1+ years JPA experience
- 1+ years RESTful web services
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of design patterns
- Ability to read and execute coding based on class diagrams
- Ecommerce experience is a plus but not required
