This position will require travel to various places and customer sites throughout the US, all reimbursed expenses. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• The 3PAR Consultant will work with the client team as they refresh the existing Storage Architecture, both HP legacy and 3rd party systems.
  
• Provide technology consulting to external clients and internal project teams. Responsible for gathering business-specific qualifications to ensure customized support to the client while providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet the client's business need.
  
• Act as a trusted advisor. Create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction.
  
• Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
  
• Actively contribute to the Client's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of overall Storage administration experience. Experience with the following technologies  
  
• Experience in one or more HPE Storage Products 
  
• 3PAR
  
• XP 
  
• StoreVirtual
  
• EVA 

Experience in one or more Third Party Storage Vendors array products: 

• EMC arrays
  
• Hitachi arrays 
  
• IBM arrays 
  
• NetApp arrays 
  
• Experience in Industry SAN technology 
  
• Brocade 
  
• Cisco 

Experience in one or more data migration technologies: 

• Peer Motion 
  
• Online Import 
  
• Appliance based migrations (MPX, Vicom) 
  
• Host based migration techniques (LVM, Doubletake, etc) 
  
• XP ODM - Online Data Migration 
  
• Storage administrative level experience in one or more Operating Systems 
  
• Windows 
  
• Linux
  
• HP-UX 
  
• Solaris 
  
• AIX 

Optional Skills: 

• Experience in NAS Migration technologies 
  
• Robocopy
  
• SecureCopy 
  
• RSYNC
