Position: Puppet Automation Engineer

Location: Englewood, CO

Duration: 6+ month/ Contract

Job Description:

 

Overview

•          Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers.

•          Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.

•          Oversees testing and develops fixes.

•          May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5years of experience in the field or in a related area.

•          Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

•          Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

•          Performs a variety of tasks.

•          Works under general supervision.

•          A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.

•          Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

•         

Required Experience:

•          7+ years software development experience

•          2+ years Puppet experience

•          3+ years Java experience

•          3+ years J2EE experience

•          3+ years linux experience

•          1+ years Oracle database experience including stored functions/procedures and triggers

•          1+ years WebLogic 11 or later

•          Experience using configuration management tools including GIT

•          Experience using build tools including maven

•          Experience with Agile methodology

•          Experience with Jenkins, Hudson or Cruise Control

•          Experience with Artifactory

Desired Experience:

•          Experience with Ansible, Salt or Chef

•          Experience with Python

•          Experience with Cloud technologies

•          Experience with NoSQL databases

•          Experience with Hadoop

•          Experience with developing REST or SOAP Web Services

•          Experience with WebLogic clustering

•          Experience with Jenkins

•          Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit

•          Experience with Eclipse
