Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong working experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Working experience with Informatica (ETL)
• Good knowledge working with MS Excel
• Knowledge of Insurance domain (preferred)
• Have basic understanding of Data warehousing concepts
• Working experience in Data Testing
• Develop, publish, and implement test plans and procedures
• Follow quality assurance standards and best practices
• Maintain defect tracking log
• Report on automated and manual testing efforts.
• Focus on automation opportunities in database and implement automation processes
• Participate in functional and technical issue resolutions sessions.
• Interact with business partners to understand and document/update business requirements.
• Have a working technical knowledge of the basic level of data modeling concepts, applications and systems integration concepts.
• Analyze and solve complex problems.
• Perform independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
Technical/Functional Skills
• Understand the business requirements and create requirement documents
• Validate data in MS Excel using formulas
• Report actuarial data in MS Excel using various database sources
• Identify and implement potential process improvements
• Understand the design documents and ETL mappings to create
• complex SQL queries for data testing
• Liaise with business and IT teams to design (convert business requirements) test scripts that thoroughly test functionality
• Work with project team to develop, coordinate, and maintain test plan and test schedule ensuring all test activity is purposeful and efficient.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills when reviewing test results to discover, investigate and report any defects, bugs, errors, or issues.
