Short Description: The Client is seeking an Expert Level UI & Front End Designer contractor for an approximate 12-month engagement on a variety of projects, including the DMV On-Board Diagnostics Project, assigned to the Client Web Services Team.
Complete Description: Client is seeking an Expert Level UI & Front End Designer contractor for an approximate 12-month engagement on a variety of projects, including the DMV On-Board Diagnostics Project, assigned to the Clients Web Services Team. This resource will be responsible for designing and developing visual designs and interfaces for our North Carolina citizens, employees, and business partners. This resource will be dedicated to multiple projects.
• Consult with customers and project managers to ensure implementation is on track to meet expectations.
• Design mockups, storyboards, and wireframes, using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Balsamiq Mockups.
• Ensure designs adhere to established state brand design template, DOT's own look and feel, and best-practice design patterns.
• Develop responsive, accessible, online experiences with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Assist with reviews (design, code, etc.) and make recommendations for required changes and suggestions for improvement.
• Work directly with backend developers to create the fastest possible load-times with responsive user interfaces.
