Sr. IBM Sterling OMS Developer

Scottsdale, AZ or Northbrook, IL

6+ month/ Contract to Hire

The Sr Developer- IBM Sterling OMS is responsible for but not limited to:
  Lead project to extend the capabilities of the OMS and related system components to meet CVS evolving business needs.
o  Interface wrappers, User Exits for external calls made into Sterling Commerce platform
o  User Interface extensions using the Web Store Application
o  Database extensions on an DB2 Database
o  System solutions that support the order management lifecycle (Order to Cash)
  Work directly with the Architects to ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the CVS Standards.
  Work closely with the team, product owner and QA to design and develop software applications.
  Develop and perform unit testing of your software Prototype solutions as needed
  Document work for easy hand-off to other teams
  Build scalable and fault tolerant solutions Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams
  Mentor junior software engineers.
  Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates.

Required Qualifications:
  Experience and designing Sterling Commerce with Webservices
  5 years of experience developing OMS solutions using IBM Sterling Commerce
  5 years of experience developing in Java/J2EE Java/JEE, Eclipse platform, XML, XSD and other related technologies
 

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with End To End OMS implementation
- Practical skills with Web Services and ATG Web commerce
- Experience as a Technical Lead large IT projects
- Experience with fast paced and overlapping product release cycles
- Experience working in cross-functional, muti-location teams
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to be flexible in a changing environment
 

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of
experience is required for each year of college not attained.
