Java Developer w/ Angular 

Roseland, NJ

6+ month/ Contract

Years of Experience:  Senior (7+years)

Scope of Work:

Client is seeking a senior Java Developer for the Strategic Compensation Initiative. Solid Java experience required.  Must have experience with J2EE development as opposed to middleware.  Must have used popular frameworks, such as Struts.  Intermediate experience with Websphere Portal development is a plus – preferably WSRP/JSR 168.  JSF experience is a plus.  Strong analytical skills necessary.  Recent hands-on development experience is necessary.  Must be able to explain and document major application design decisions and their rationales to technical and non-technical audiences.  Experience on large-scale projects at top tier financial firms is a plus.  BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent.

Experience requirement:

• Must have at least five (5) years of experience designing, coding, and testing distributed application components.
  
• ANGULARJS is a must 
  
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience utilizing Java, JSP, and Oracle/UDB.
  
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience participating on Scrum teams.
  
• Overall desired technical expertise includes (but is not limited to) Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Websphere, Oracle, SQL, & Informatica.
  

Education Requirement: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any) or related field.
