{PBJFlorida} Host the Elect to End Hunger Tour with Food Not Bombs co-founder Keith McHenry at your school this year.

Start this school year off in a positive way by bringing this inspiring
speaker to your community. This is a great way to increase participation
in your student organizations and other community efforts. Keith will
share the history, principles and current actions of the Food Not Bombs
movement. You can start to organize this important presentation as soon
as you return to school this fall. Contact the leaders of the student
organizations on your campus and ask them if they would like to bring
the tour to your school. You can help them book the venue, request a
speakers fee and funds for transportation and promotion. If you are not
attending school you can bring the presentation to your local book
store, cafe or community center.

Thanks so much for your consideration. Please email us at
menu@foodnotbombs.net today to book a presentation in your community.

"I saw you speak at York U in Toronto! You are an inspiration!"
Amanda - York University Toronto, Canada

"Keith, people can't stop talking about your presentation here at ASU!"
Melissa - Appalachian State University

Artis, author and Food Not Bombs co-founder Keith McHenry will share
the story, principles and current activities of the movement. Keith will
also invite the audience to participate with their local activist
organizations in helping change society. This is a great way to inspire
participation in the projects that are important to you.

Most people would elect to end hunger and poverty but many of the
people running for office have another agenda: cutting social services
while transferring our tax dollars to wealthy military contractors and
their corporate friends. While elected officials cut social services
like unemployment insurance, food stamps, education, health care and
other basic necessities they are also passing laws against the poor and
their supporters. Food Not Bombs volunteers are facing arrest in cities
all over the United States as one in two Americans are struggling to
survive. Food prices are increasing as crops fail because of the climate
crisis. Oxfam and the United Nations are among the agencies claiming
that hunger will be on the increase possibly leading to civil unrest and
violent police repression. These same elected leaders are preparing for
wars and promoting the continued destruction of the environment. You can
make a difference by bringing the Elect To End Hunger and Poverty Tour
to you community.

Food Not Bombs is responding to the economic, ecological and political
crisis by recovering, preparing and sharing vegan meals and groceries
with the hungry in nearly 1,000 communities. Along with our healthy
organic vegan meals we provide information, music, puppet shows and
street theater addressing the many issues we are striving to change.
Many people have expressed that our presentation was an inspiration
giving them hope. They often tell us that they were moved to participate
in their local student organization, local Food Not Bombs group, start a
Food Not Lawns garden, reclaims housing with Homes Not Jails or
participate in many other exciting projects. You can make a difference
by booking the presentation at your school. We are also happy to bring
the presentation to your cafe, book store or infoshop at no cost.

Call 1-800-884-1136 or email us at menu@foodnotbombs.net today and
schedule a 45 minute presentation about the history, principles and
current actions of the Food Not Bombs movement. We will also show the 15
minute video about Food Not Bombs in Africa. Keith will also have copies
of his new book "HUNGRY FOR PEACE" available at each presentation.

HOW CAN YOU BRING THE TOUR TO YOUR CAMPUS?

As soon as you return to class, ask the leaders of your school's
student groups to consider hosting this inspiring presentation on Food
Not Bombs. Student groups working for human and animal rights, hunger
relief and the environment can help. Groups like the Progressive
Student Alliance, Amnesty International, The National Lawyers Guild,
Campus Progress, Student PIRG, SDS, vegan and vegetarian associations,
campus groups working to end hunger and poverty and Oxfam have all
sponsored The Elect To End Hunger and Poverty Tour. These student groups
can secure a venue on campus, ask that the event be announced throughout
the college and request funding for an honorarium which will be donated
to Food Not Bombs. It is important to request the speaker fee and
transportation money as soon as the fall semester starts before the
Young Republicans  take all of the student activity funds. We are happy
to help you navigate the student government system at your school. Call
us today at 575-770-3377.

We also provide you with a sample black and white flyer that you can
add the date, time and location of the presentation. We will also email
you a sample full color flyer, public service announcement for your
campus radio station and newspaper. We will also provide you with the
forms you will need to request the honorarium and a check list to help
you and your friends organize the presentation. We make it easy to
attract a big audience and encourage your classmates and community
members to join you in organizing for a better future. It is more
important than ever to bring the Elect To End Hunger and Poverty Tour to
your community!

Food Not Bombs cofounder Keith McHenry's new book will also be out this
fall.

it's a hymn to compassion. " - Raj Patel, author of Stuffed and Starved
