Job Title:Senior ETL Datastage Developer(LOCALS)  

Location: North East, NJ 

Duration:12+ months C2C 

Interview: Face To Face Required

Required Skills:

Will lead the migration of ETL processing for DWH applications from COBOL to IBM DataStage ETL tool. 

Minimum of 6+ years of in-depth ETL design and development experience with DataStage v8.x is required, working on full lifecycle implementation projects. 

Sr. / Lead DataStage developer will have responsibilities for design, coding, testing as well as in a role guiding, coaching others. 

Deliver ETL solution via DataStage to meet business and non-functional requirements. 

Provides technical leadership in identifying and implementing new features of DataStage v8.7 as applicable to make ETL process efficient and enhance performance results. 

Support all phases of test cycle from Unit thru' Implementation Validation Testing. 

Researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies. 

Translates business and functional requirements into technical design to meet stated business needs

2 to 3 years of proven experience as a lead ETL design and developer

Participates in technical architecture definitions to align solution with business needs

Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and documents large and complex programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance

Proficient with IBM DataStage version 8.7 -High proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with strong relational database concepts

Knowledge of Unix, Linux shell scripting.

 Details of Position: 

Knowledge of mainframe TSO, JCL and PROC is a plus

Experience in Data warehousing and Reporting Systems

Proven experience migrating ETL processes, jobs, programs from Cobol to DataStage

Leads technical documentation in compliance with SDLC to communicate and update project teams and stakeholders.
