Job Title: ERP  JD EDWARDS Programmer / Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 months Contract 

Interview: Skype

Required Skills:

Reviews, analyzes and modifies the programming systems including design, encoding, and documentation, testing and debugging to support an organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. The ERP Programmer ensures that software can be completely integrated into the ERP System. This person designs new modules to improve system efficiency.

Essential Job Functions

Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications. 

Research and document requirements of program users. 

Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications. 

Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolation areas for improvement, and general debugging. 

Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. 

Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process. 

Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. 

Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems.

Four (4) to six (6) years of ERP programming experience

Familiarity with concepts, practices and procedures of ERP 

Experience with JDEdwards OneWorld/Enterprise strongly preferred 

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment 

Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required 

Strong customer service orientation
