Senior Teradata Developer

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

 

The things team could use an extra pair of hands with are:

• Help team members who have monthly processes change their code from SQL to Teradata
• Suggest code options
• Teach code differences
• Explain techniques and tradeoffs
• Help them with best practices for getting data on Teradata from other systems
• Push from Oracle to Teradata?
• Teradata pull from Oracle
• TTU (client software tools to move data over with some utilities)
• Set up EL processes
• Provide guidance, tips and tricks on code, work, things like UDF's (user defined functions)

Provide technical argument that helps us bolster and request additional tools required for Web Log URL processing/parsing (UDF's, etc) to the system and software- expert advice
