Job Title: Oracle DBA (LOCAL)

Location: Augusta, ME.(Must be local to New England)

Duration:6+  months Contract 

Rate: $45/hr

Required Skills:

TEST REQUIRED:  DBA Test Required before being hired, will be done on-site here at the State of Maine.  Plan on the candidate interviewing for 1.5 - 2 hours.

Provide expertise/support to developers in upgrading applications to 11g.   

Author scripts to perform backup, restore and monitoring tasks.  

Perform performance tuning.

Provide status of work to Project Team Lead.  Mentor other team members.  Will be working on multiple projects. 

OS:  Linux and Windows

PROGRAMMING LANG/DVLPMT TOOLS:  RMAN - backup/restores. 

Able to create/edit scripts in windows environment.

HARDWARE:  Oracle RAC - Windows.  Oracle RAC - Unix.

DB SYSTEMS/ TOOLS:   Oracle 11g

FRAMEWORKS/SLDS/METHODOLOGIES:  DB migration skills.

QA/TESTING-APPROACHES, APPS:
