Hadoop MapReduce Developer

Oak Brook IL 

Long Term

Experience deploying and administering a multi-terrabyte Hadoop cluster
- Well versed in installing and managing distributions of Hadoop (CDH3, CDH4, Cloudera manager, MapR, Hortonworks etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Hadoop integration points with enterprise BI and EDW tools
-Excellent knowledge of Python/PERL/Shell script language and hands-on programming skills
-Development experience in Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Flume, HBASE* is desired
-Exposure to* Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB is a plus

What you'll be doing:

- Build, configure, and tune multi terrabyte Hadoop clusters in the CyberSecurity space
- Ensure that Hadoop infrastructure is implemented in best practice fashion
- Deploy and administer the Hadoop Software, MapReduce, HDFS, Hbase and related tools.
