Dear Friends,

Right now, members of the House of Representatives are debating Guantanamo provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). They are expected to vote on the NDAA by Friday.

Action Instructions
Today before 5PM Eastern, please call the House switchboard and ask to be connected with your Representative. You can ask by name or give your Zip Code + four: (202) 224-3121. If you can't make a call today, it's still worth making a call tomorrow (Thursday).

Sample Message
"I urge Congressman/woman __________ to support closing the Guantanamo detention facility. Each detainee must either be charged and fairly tried in federal court, or released. Human rights protect all of us."
