SAP Security  – 1 position
Work Location is Columbia, Maryland
12 months project + extensions
Client will not pay for expenses


Not looking for SAP Functional or Technical consultants. This is purely a Basis role, strong experience in Security.

SAP Systems Full Time Support:
Define and maintain 25+ VM's across multiple clusters.
Create and maintain an SAP template for quick cloning and restores.
Develop, test and implement a workable SAP system cloning procedure.
Monitor VM performance and make necessary changes (memory, CPU, storage, etc.) to keep all systems running smoothly.
Provide SAP storage based on County storage policies.
Install and test all required Windows updates to keep systems current.



CONTRACTOR'S QUALIFICATIONS:
The key individuals involved in performing these services for the
County shall at a minimum have and maintain these qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.
Minimum three (3) years SQL Server of database administration.
Minimum five (5) years of TSM administration/configuration.
Minimum five (5) years in a similar role as an SAP security administrator/architect supporting a medium to large corporation.
Expert understanding of SAP security architecture and administration with a thorough knowledge of roles, profiles, authorization objects and SAP user management.
Ability to analyze roles and authorizations, identify and resolve conflicts.
Proven ability to enforce SAP access.
 Minimum five (5) years of SAP security, strategic design, implementation and administration within ECC, CRM, SRM, BEX, Solution Manager, BW/BOBJ, and other SAP related platforms.
Proven history of being able to lead design and process sessions.
Strong experience in CUA configuration and set up, SAP Logistics Module(s) role creation, eCATT for mass security tasks.
Experience in BASIS or other technical administrative activities and knowledge.
Strong  understanding  of  all  phases  of  systems  implementation  (ASAP  methodology)  and application life cycle management.
General knowledge of business processes and SAP business processes within finance, sales, marketing and manufacturing.
Ability to communicate SAP authorization requirements and work with business process owners to build SAP authorization assignments and resolve segregation of duties (SOD) conflicts (either compliance or operational).
Must have a five (5) year, broad-based technical background including experience in more than one facet of information technology.
Proven track record delivering SAP NetWeaver Portal solutions, including analysis, architecture, design, testing, product installation, and support.
Superior   technical   development   expertise.   Adept   at   recommending   computer   platforms, workstations, and communication linkages to support business processes and information flows.
Proven ability to provide portal integration with other non-SAP applications as required.
Experience implementing OSS  notes,  kernel  patches, and  support packages. Ensure  network security and backups.
Analyze and recommend technologies to enhance current systems and support overall business goals and global client relationships.
Key  personnel  performing the  services  for  the  County  shall  be  able  to  pass  a  background investigation performed either by the County or a third party provider.
Contractors must be engaged in information technology professional services and must have been actively engaged in information technology professional services for a period of no less than five years.
The  County  reserves  the  right  to  inspect  the  Contractor's  facility  and  to  perform  such investigations as may be deemed necessary to insure that competent personnel and management will be utilized in the performance of the Agreement.
(4), the quality of performance of previous contracts or  services shall be  considered in  determining the  lowest responsive and responsible bidder.   Quality of performance may be determined through contracts or services provided to the County or to other entities.  Quality of performance to other entities will be determined from reference checks when references are required.   The determination of quality performance includes the Contractor's history of reasonable and cooperative behavior and commitment to customer satisfaction and the Contractor's businesslike concern for the interests of the customer.    The County reserves the right to reject any bid deemed not responsible or non- responsive.
Each Contractor shall completely satisfy themselves as to the exact nature and requirements of the specifications for extent and quality of the work to be performed. Failure to do so shall not relieve the Contractor of its obligation to carry out the provisions of the Agreement.
