Position: Bigdata Architect

Job Description
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong Java programming, shell scripting, Python, and SQL
- 2 years of focused work in Hadoop/HDFS/Map Reduce/Spark
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sets
- Proficient in HiveQL, Pig Latin
- Proven experience with Sqoop, Oozie, Flume, Storm, Kafka
- Experience with Lambda Architecture
- Experience with open source NOSQL technologies such as HBase
- Understanding of API's and hadoop integration points from application perspective
- Experience with data ingest, store, and view generation
- Deep Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS Platforms as they relate to Hadoop (Import, Export, Query, etc…)
- Experience or advanced education in Mathematics or Statistics a plus
- Experience of Hortonworks HDP required
- Knowledge of deploying Hadoop solutions in Amazon AWS a big plus
