Automation testing on Cloud
Work Location: Houston, TX
Duration : 6 months
Job Description
· Builds unit and integration tests, test rigs and mocks suitable for validating the correctness of service API implementations.
· Follows best practices associated with DevOps and value-driven development ensuring quality from concept to production. Works well in a small team and capable of collaborating with other teams to align objectives and share expertise throughout the broader organization.
· Identifies and keeps abreast of novel technical concepts and markets. May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations.
Required skills:
· DevOps experience with continuous delivery on public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS.
· Experience with agile product development practices required. Experience with open source software platforms such as Apache Hadoop preferred.
· Experience with microservices architecture, development, deployment and testing. Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies.
· Competency with managed languages such as Java or C# required.
· Experience with compiled languages such as C or C++ preferred.
· Knowledge of interpreted or dynamic scripting languages preferred.
· Experience in the energy and petroleum industry preferred.
