JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Proven ability to produce high quality data visualizations in a fast paced environment
-An expert who can tell a story with data, as well as visualize it with a variety of tools (Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, D3, etc)
-Strong background in data relationships, modeling, semantic layer and mining
-Technical guru; proficient in data wrangling mechanisms like SQL, R, Python, JavaScript, etc.
-Experience with Redshift, Teradata or other parallel database
-Experience working with complex and large volumes of data
-Ability of filtering the signal from the noise in datasets
-Experience with Hive, Spark, Scala is a plus
-Ability to work independently and problem solve with little to no direction

Background:
Assist with a variety of activities related to modernizing our technology stack to support a data-rich environment and bring new capabilities to support our strategic focus areas. This includes work to help improve data visualizations, data warehousing, Business Intelligence ("BI") strategies, and advanced analytics capabilities in order to facilitate more accessible, easy to discover, and easy to visualize data for everyone in WB.
