Important Skills
Technical – Broad knowledge of a LIMS Systems (e.g. LabVantage) is required. Partner effectively with the IT team in translating deep understanding of Business user requirements and system domain expertise into detailed functional design, technical design, architecture, configuration, development and integration requirements. feasibility of, and develops requirements to support business processes using LIMS. Integrate data imports of existing software & laboratory instruments (e.g. Tritaurus, Orchard Harvest, Softmax) to LIMS. Training.

LIMS Business Analyst Essential Duties and Job Functions
• Broad knowledge of a LIMS Systems (e.g. LabVantage) is required.
• Manage the configuration, design, validation and implementation of a LIMS System
• Partner effectively with the IT team in translating deep understanding of Business user requirements and system domain expertise into detailed functional design, technical design, architecture, configuration, development and integration requirements
• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements to support business processes using LIMS
• Integrate data imports of existing software & laboratory instruments (e.g. Tritaurus, Orchard Harvest, Softmax) to LIMS
• Provides systems training to end users, contributes to process improvements, and the evaluation of related products.
• Recommends system improvements by analyzing current practices and processes
• Supporting development of Acceptance Tests
• Participating in Acceptance Testing
• Experience working in a regulated industry required
• Strong problem solving and organization skills
