Network Engineer with Telephony Infrastructure Exp

Job Description
- Develop and maintain the overall Cisco CUCM/UCCE telephony infrastructure including
- Planning and Supporting the overall topology of the telephony infrastructure including voice circuits, hardware and software
- Provide telephony design , configuration, capacity planning, monitoring needs and standardization
- Research & recommend future telephony technology trend to handle future growth
- Lead activities related to telephony architecture/integration on all IT initiatives. Coordinate detailed telephony system execution plans with HAEA and other vendors
- Maintain awareness of current trends and innovations in the overall IT industry, allowing the incumbent to also make recommendations on future telephony system improvements and features
- Coordinate, along with other managers, enterprise strategies for the telephony infrastructure
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- Identify functional and technical knowledge, skills and key competencies that are essential to perform this job.
- Very strong knowledge of Cisco CUCM/UCCE system architectures, approaches, techniques and technologies
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications/UCCE technology and strategies including CUIC, CAD/Finesse, Unity, PG, CCMP, CUPS, ROGGER, ICM, CVP, CUIC, Voice Gateway, CUCM 8.x and higher.
- Strong FXO/FXS/PRI/T1/SIP Circuits and Signaling Protocols (H.323, SIP, MGCP)
- Proficient experience with VMWare and Cisco FlexPod Platform
- Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical peers and management staff
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build consensus and work closely with multiple staff members
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
