Position: Data Architect

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract

Interview: Phone and Skype

MUST HAVE: 

ï¿· Bachelor's Degree or higher

ï¿· Experience with ("in production") implementation(s) of Data Architecture standards and

principles contained in an industry-recognized EA framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)

ï¿· Experience leading data conversion initiatives in complex organizations

ï¿· 7+ years' professional experience in Data Architecture/as a Data Architect including:

o Implementation of Data Architecture standards and principles contained in an industry-

recognized EA framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)

o Development and maintenance of DA artifacts and catalogs

ï¿· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio

ï¿· Proficient in the use of data modeling tools and techniques

ï¿· Excellent communication (verbal and written), leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills

interacting with high level leadership (e.g. CIO) to functional and technical staff-level positions

ï¿· Hands on experience with one or more ERP

NICE TO HAVE:

ï¿· Active EA or equivalent certification

ï¿· Demonstrated experience supporting technology activities for an ERP implementation or a

similarly-sized transformative technology project

ï¿· Experience with financial ERP applications

ï¿· Experience working with State agencies or other state governments similar in size in terms of

annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count

ï¿· Experience with architecting data warehouse and data mart solutions

ï¿· Experience with architecting business intelligence solutions

ï¿· Software engineering experience using service-oriented architecture (SOA) including developing

and maintaining data services
